Beekse Bergen is a perfect holiday destination for families with young children. It is a really unique resort, split into 3 parts: the Lake Resort, Safari Resort and Safari Hotel.

Beekse Bergen is located in beautiful woodland in the North Brabant region of the Netherlands. Its setting in unspoilt nature with a large swimming lake, sandy lake beaches, indoor pools and the fantastic and extensive toddler friendly “Speelland” play paradise is only part of what makes Beekse Bergen so unique. It is also home to the biggest Safari Park in the Netherlands. During your stay you can choose to take driving or walking routes around the safari park or take the boat to see all the animals in their natural surroundings. Here you can really have it all; nature, beaches, safari park and a huge play zone.

The Lake Resort provides the perfect outdoor holiday experience where you can enjoy the forest, swim in the lake or explore Bojo beach. Here, you will discover a children’s play beach where you can take your seat at one of the tables, or put your feet up and relax on a sunbed whilst sipping a delicious cocktail, letting your children enjoy the natural surroundings and play area. Indoors, you can discover the Lake Resort’s Etsi pool with its 3 separate areas for swimming, playing or relaxing and take in the views which stretch as far as the eye can see over beautiful Lake Victoria. There is a well-stocked supermarket, indoor play and restaurant, and a children’s activity and entertainment programme.

Picture the sun setting to the sound of lions roaring or the sight of giraffes as they majestically walk over the sandy savannahs, with zebras huddled together as they feed. This is just a regular day at the Safari Resort. Staying in a Savannah Lodge or a Savannah Room in the Safari Hotel means you can relax on your own terrace overlooking uninterrupted views of giraffes, zebras, rhinos and other safari animals all day long. We know from experience, that this is something that you never tire of and it provides hours of entertainment for little ones.

The Safari Resort has its own indoor pool, a small shop, bowling, indoor play and children’s activities with the park Ranger. The restaurant and adjacent adventure play area have direct views over the animals on the Serengeti savannah.

It’s easy to travel between the different resorts, the Safari Park and Speelland, using the free Ostrich Express shuttle train. This is a hassle-free and fun way to get around and you can easily pop your buggy into the rear carriage if needed for the duration of your journey.
