A new child friendly hotel concept 500m from Efteling
We were very excited to hear of the opening of the 4 star GuestHouse Hotel in Kaatsheuvel just a 10 minute walk from Holland’s most famous attraction, the Efteling fairytale theme park. Adding the GuestHouse Hotel to the Little Clogs collection perfectly complements the accommodation we already feature at Efteling itself, giving families even more choice of where to stay.
The GuestHouse hotel is a perfect option for families wanting to be close to but not at the Efteling, for families wanting more of a town location and those who might just want to stay for one night. Its spacious family rooms are just the perfect place to rest after a busy day at Efteling! We are able to offer Little Clogs customers an exclusive discount of 5% on the GuestHouse hotel rooms. You just need to enter the promotional code LITTLECLOGS when you go through to the hotel website. The GuestHouse Hotel also offers Efteling packages so you can book a room and entrance to the theme park making a saving on the overall cost. Please note that the 5% discount on the Efteling packages only applies to the 2 day Efteling packages (and the discount is applied to the room rate as the Efteling ticket rate is already discounted).
This 71 room hotel not only has a fantastic location by Efteling and within walking distance of several shops and restaurants, next to Albert Heijn supermarket and opposite a bakery, but it retains a very informal, family friendly feel throughout. It is very tastefully decorated and manages to be cosy and modern at the same time. Someone once commented to us that hotels in Holland really do know how to cater for children don’t they! This is certainly the case here where there is a fantastic outdoor play area on its award winning (fully enclosed) rooftop garden, with slide, swings, sandpit and playhouse. The indoor bar area also has a play area where children can be entertained while you’re enjoying a relaxing drink and there are surprises to be discovered in the magical walkways. We’ll let you wait and discover those!
Their all-day dining concept means you can drop in to the restaurant whenever you like and the friendly chefs will be happy to rustle you up something delicious! The restaurant has highchairs and a children’s menu.
With Efteling on your doorstop we think you’ll have your days taken care of but in case you wanted to get out and about the beautiful Loonsche and Drunense National Park is on your doorstep and you’re within easy reach of Breda, den Bosch and Tilburg. The local bus stop is also just 5 minutes walk away.
As with everything in our collection we like things which are a bit different. We think you’ll love the GuestHouse hotel.

Holland is full of surprises, it even has a desert! The Loonse and Drunense National Park is just around the corner…These are the largest inland sand dunes in Europe. Go and have a picnic, build some sandcastles or just take in this area of natural beauty.
A 20 minutes drive will bring you to the centre of Tilburg, a lovely vibrant city. Head to the famous Heuvelstraat if it’s shopping you fancy. If you’d rather have a leisurely bite to eat or soak up the atmosphere whilst watching the world go by, then the bars and restaurants in this city won’t disappoint.
Just an hour away by public transport or 30 minutes drive by car and you will arrive at Beekse Bergen Safari Park. Here you can choose to explore the wild and wonderful animals with your own car, on foot, boat or by taking one of the scheduled bus trips. This wonderful safari park won’t fail to fill your toddlers with fabulous memories as they spot the wild animals en route. It’s even free for children up to 3 years old.
As with everywhere in the Netherlands, nothing is far away. Amsterdam to the north is only 1h15 away.
