TerSpegelt Holiday Park

We’re often asked for recommendations of holiday parks which are suitable for children of all ages and TerSpegelt certainly ticks this box! TerSpegelt is a fantastic award winning resort in the Dutch Brabant region with activities suitable for all ages. Located close to the Belgian border with Efteling, Beekse Bergen and Toverland theme park within a 45 minute drive there is as much to do off site as on.

TerSpegelt enjoys a calm setting in beautiful nature with three recreational lakes and direct access to woodland walks, bike rides and pony rides. There is even a magical gnome path walk where children can see if they can find where the resident gnomes are hiding!

Water lovers have the choice of the swimming lake with its sandy beaches, waterslide and rentable inflatables, or the heated indoor swimming pool. Younger children are in their element exploring the amazing indoor sand and water playground, “SterrenStrand”, which is a sandy indoor paradise with castles, a harbour and an underground labyrinth to discover!  This is just next to the indoor pool which has a toddler pool and a canal where little ones can sail along in a foam boat! Older children can enjoy the waterslide and the many watersports available on the recreational lake. They might want to try their hand at “tubing”, which involves being pulled along on an inflatable by a speedboat!

Back on dry land there is a wide choice of sports activities to be enjoyed as well as a large playground with different areas for different ages. And the big air trampoline on the beach is always a hit! TerSpegelt organises kids clubs during the main Dutch holidays and children can also let off steam at the BMX track or zooming over the lake on the 120m long zip wire.

TerSpegelt has seen some exciting renovations over the last few years, including the addition of the TubbyJump, which offers a thrilling ride for daredevils big and small. Sit in your inflatable ring and whoosh down slides varying in height from 2 to 6 metres, or zoom down from a height of 10 metres and be launched into the air before landing on a large air cushion.

The 2026 season sees the opening of the brand-new central area, perfect for meeting new friends and getting active on the sports fields and PumpTrack. At the heart of this area is the impressive new De Brinck area, designed for the whole family to enjoy. This is also the new location of the SPAR supermarket and the De BonneFooi restaurant and lounge area. While the building looks striking from the outside, there is even more to discover inside and even underground. Children can take a slide directly down to a brand-new Craft Workshop, where they are free to let their imaginations run wild. This is also where your little ones can find the Kid’s Disco and try out their best dance moves with family and friends.

You’ll also discover a Bowling Pub, which features a games area and a new style of bowling alley that puts a twist on the traditional game by using illuminated targets, welcome to the world of hyper bowling! Families are also welcome to enjoy the bar, have a few drinks, or watch sporting events. The Bowling Pub is in a convenient location, close to the sports areas and the PumpTrack, allowing parents to keep their children within sight.

The entire area provides a great space for families to come together, explore different activities, or relax in the recreational areas. Whether you pop in for a short time or find yourself moving between the different attractions, this is a fantastic addition to what is already a vibrant and welcoming resort

At the end of a fun packed day you can watch the sun go down over the lake whilst enjoying a delicious meal at the restaurant de Wijde Blick and maybe catch a movie in the open air cinema!
