Accommodation with Aircon

One of the questions we’re being asked a lot at the moment is, are there any accommodations in the Little Clogs Holidays collection which have aircon? Whilst the climate in the Netherlands and Belgium is typically mild and in the 20s in the summer, it’s fair to say that it’s been very warm lately pretty much everywhere!

Most of the accommodation doesn’t have aircon and we’ve always found it to be fine in the summer. Keeping the curtains closed and then letting the cooler air flow through the accommodation in the evening has always worked well for us. That said, there are several parks which have started installing aircon and some which already had it so here’s a quick round up below (This may not be a complete list as parks continue to add aircon but we will try and keep this up to date!).

Beekse Bergen

An incredible resort with a Lake Resort, Safari Resort and Safari Hotel. Doable without a car and 20 mins from Efteling theme park.

The Lake Resort Woodland Cabins, Woodland Cabin Plus and Safari Resort Treehouses have aircon. The Savannah Rooms have climate control.

Duinrell

The ultimate car-free holiday park. Just 30 mins from Amsterdam airport this has a theme park, water park, local town on the doorstep and beach 4km away.

The Premium Plus 5 and Premium Plus 6 Duingalows, some of the Premium Plus 8 Duingalows and some of the Eurocamp mobile homes have aircon.

TerSpegelt

A brilliant holiday park with lots of activities, a lake beach area, indoor pool and waterslide, indoor play beach and more. 45 mins from Efteling and 30 mins from Beekse Bergen.

The 6 person Chalet, 6 person Chalet Plus and Panorama Chalets and all of Eurocamp mobile homes have aircon.

Twee Bruggen

A beautiful park close to the German border with indoor and outdoor pools, 3 waterslides, plenty of activities and a medieval town 30 mins walk away.

The 6 person Key West, 4 person Veranda Chalet , 6 person Veranda Chalet and all Eurocamp mobile homes have aircon.

Dierenbos

Dierenbos has a swimming lake, indoor and outdoor pool and farm animals. It’s 15 mins from the city of den Bosch, 30 mins from Efteling and 35 mins from Beekse Bergen.

Their 6 person Cottage Edelhert and 6 person Kids Cottage Red Deer both have aircon.

Landal Domein de Schatberg

An action-packed park 5 mins from Toverland theme park and 35 mins from Irrland adventure play park in Germany. Indoor and outdoor pool.

The Eurocamp mobile homes all have aircon.

Marvilla Parks Kaatsheuvel

A lovely park with a fantastic setting right next to the Loonse en Drunense sand dunes and 10 mins from Efteling. Indoor pool and outdoor spray park.

Most of the Eurocamp mobile homes have aircon here.

EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel

A lovely, modern park, 5 minutes drive from Efteling or a 30 minute walk. This park is doable without a car. Most of the accommodation has aircon.

Koningshof

A small park 15 mins from Duinrell and 8km from the beach at Katwijk. A good base for visiting the tulips in sprintime. Doable without a car.

Some of the Eurocamp mobile homes have aircon.

Family Resort Molenwaard

A fairly new, farm-themed park based on Dutch children’s TV characters Fien and Teun. 25 mins from the Kinderdijk windmills.

The 6 person Luxury Fien and Teun Farmhouse, the 8 person Luxury Fien and Teun Farmhouse and the Luxury Wellness Farmhouse with hot tub for 14 persons have aircon (the Luxury Wellness Farmhouse has it in the bedrooms only).

Landal Waterparc Veluwemeer

A laid-back park on the Veluwemeer lake, with an indoor and outdoor pool. The Hansel and Gretel pancake house and play park is 5 mins away (or 10 mins by bike). Doable without a car.

The 6CE bungalow has aircon.

Landal Beach Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad

A beautiful beach is a 10 minute walk away from this modern park. there are 3 fab waterslides onsite. Bruges is 35 mins away.

A few of the models have the option to select aircon as a payable extra. These include: 4 person Lodge 1, 4 person Lodge 2, 4 person Lodge 3, 4 person Lodge 9, 6 person Lodge 1, 6 person Lodge 2, 6 person Lodge 3, 6 person Villa 2.

EuroParcs De Utrechtse Heuvelrug

This park has a fantastic location, 10 minutes walk from this beautiful recreational lake beach and 25 minutes walk to Maarn train station. From there you’re in central Utrecht in under 20 minutes. Most of the accommodation here has aircon.
