But there’s many a reason to stay on site and enjoy all of the fun and relaxation there is on offer.

EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel boasts a great indoor pool, perfect for some family fun, or a whizz down the slide. During the summer months you can take a dip in the outdoor pool too, complete with toddler pool and waterslide. For those who enjoy kicking a ball around then the sports fields are just the ticket, the perfect place to meet up and enjoy time with newly made friends! There is plenty on offer for children as there is an onsite animation team which organises fun activities and shows all year round.

If you really want to get out and explore the beauty of the local area, then join the locals by renting a bike and using the large system of cycle paths which the Netherlands are well known for to get around. You can hire regular bikes and e-choppers at EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel and head straight out into beautiful woodland from the park. You won’t need to head far to see some true Dutch culture as there’s a windmill a 10 minute walk away.

If all the fun of the park and its surrounding area has made you work up an appetite, then a meal at the park restaurant is the perfect choice. What’s even better is that this is next to the indoor playground, so you can easily keep an eye on your children whilst resting your weary feet from all your adventures. If it’s a lighter bite you are after then the snack bar with have something for everyone. With a lovely terrace to enjoy at your own accommodation there’s always the option of self-catering too and the mini- market has the essentials you need.

Accommodation

There is a wide variety of accommodation available at EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel from glamping tents and tiny homes to villas. The large windows are a great feature allowing for light to fill the living areas. Holiday homes can accommodate between 4 to 8 people and feature 2 to 4 bedrooms, and have all mod cons.

Each accommodation type has its own unique name relating to its position within the park and interior features. All are detached houses and are on either one or two floors.

Themed accommodation types. ‘Kid’s Adventure, Kid’s Cottage and Baby Cottage’ are all on one level. The Baby Cottage can accommodation 2 babies and has additional features specific to their needs such as cots, changing mats, utensils and play equipment. The Kid’s Adventure and Kid’s Cottage are decorated with child friendly decor and have their own Nintendo Switch.

“Super!!!! Highly Recommended”

Super nice park with very neat, clean houses. And we really enjoyed all the luxury in our house. We did this in combination with visits to the smulhoeve, which we visit more often. and this was really ideal and hopefully next year it will be possible to have a care pony here for the time of your stay. Friendly staff and very clean park.

“Excellent Holiday Park”

We combined this weekend at Europarcs with a day at Efteling. It’s about 10 minutes away so ideal. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool with a paddling pool, so we had a good time there. There are plenty of play equipment throughout the park, a small indoor playground and a kids’ club. So there is plenty to do for the little ones.

“What a Nice Park”

Beautiful park, everything well maintained. All kinds of play areas; air trampoline, football wall, football field, swings, see-saw, slides, gnome path etc. At the back of the park there is a fence through which you can walk/cycle straight into the Loonse and Drunense dunes. Super beautiful! Animation organizes everything. From young to teenagers/parents. And cycling to Efteling is 10 minutes.

At EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel you can add a cot, high chair, playpen or baby bath to your booking for a small fee, unless booking the baby themed accommodation which includes them free of charge.

To Do

You can’t visit Noord Brabant without a trip to Efteling theme park. This super family friendly day out really has something for everyone. There are the big thrill roller coasters, a magnificent water show and the famous, magical, fairytale forest for starters. Soon you will realise this is more than a theme and around each and every corner there is something new and wonderful to enjoy and discover. Efteling is just a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk away.

Holland is full of surprises, it even has a desert! The Loonse and Drunense National Park is just around the corner…These are the largest inland sand dunes in Europe. Go and have a picnic, build some sandcastles or just take in this area of natural beauty. With direct access to the dunes, Restaurant De Roestelberg and Grand Cafe Sands and play area are just a 5 minute drive or 10 minute cycle from the park.

Within a 25 minute drive you can visit the vibrant cities of Tilburg, Breda and Den Bosch with their shops, restaurants and picturesque water ways.

Beekse Bergen Safari Park and Speelland play zone are just 25 minutes drive away. Here you can choose to explore the wild and wonderful animals with your own car, on foot, boat or by taking one of the scheduled bus trips. This wonderful safari park won’t fail to fill your toddlers with fabulous memories as they spot the wild animals en route. It’s even free for children up to 3 years old.
