Family Resort Molenwaard is located in the Polder in South Holland which means it is situated on land that has been reclaimed from the water. The resort has a super indoor play barn and playgrounds outdoors. A pretty lake central to the park is perfect for a relaxing day digging in the sand and enjoying the water by boat, a paddle or swim. You can also go on Farm Safari where you embark on your own adventure and learn about different types of farms.

Each country has their own TV childhood characters and Molenwaard is based around two Dutch characters called Fien and Teun. On site you can enjoy activities relating to them such as a parade, shows and entertainment. The Park Shop is full of merchandise relating to Fien and Teun which will make the perfect souvenirs. You can discover an all year round activity programme and when staying at Molenwaard you also get unlimited access to Adventure Boerderij (farm) Molenwaard too, just a 15 minute drive away.

The accommodation is set around the water, play areas, village streets. or close to the farm. These houses are lovely and colourful, offering a wide range of options. The holiday houses come in all types of styles and each with their own individual character.

The menu features local dishes using local ingredients, some of which can be purchased in the onsite grocery store, so you can enjoy them from your accommodation.

The snack bar opens nice and early in the morning for breakfast and then serves tasty quick snacks such as burgers and fries throughout the day. Can anyone resist a delicious ice cream from the onsite ice cream parlour! Here you will find organic ice cream sourced from the region.

For a special family evening out head to the restaurant on a Thursday for the Farmer’s Buffet. This weekly event means the regular menu is served with the additional of locally sourced and traditionally prepared buffet style options, this is a hit with families. Molenwaard feels this is a way to highlight and showcase local cuisine cooked by passionate chefs. You can also have breakfast delivery, barbeque and shopping packages for your convenience.
