Roompot Beach Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad is a brand new park in a stunning location with luxury accommodation and facilities to match. As it only opened in 2020 everything has a very new and modern feel. Located on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the Netherlands this is a park suitable for all ages and perfect for a relaxed break enjoying the best of what this part of the country has to offer. The resort of Cadzand, said to be the most beautiful beach in Holland, is only 5 minutes’ drive away.

A beautiful clean, sandy beach is a 10 minute walk from the park along a wooden boardwalk, past a nature reserve. Walk 10 minutes further and you’ll find another beach complete with a cosy pavilion where you can enjoy lunch while looking out to the sea over the wooden breakwater posts, symbolic of this region. We love the cute Miffy markers on this beach which are there to help families orientate themselves, but which also look super cute!

This is a park suitable for toddlers right up to older children, with its 3 fantastic waterslides, large indoor pool with lazy river and toddler spray park. Once you have climbed the stairs to the top of the waterslides you are met with a wonderful view out towards the beach. The main building also houses a good sized indoor play area with separate areas for different ages, a well-stocked shop, a snack bar and a restaurant with its own robot to serve your meal! There are several smaller play areas dotted throughout the park.

Roompot Beach Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad is a fairly large park with an unbelievable range of different accommodation types, including beach lodges in the dunes, thatched houses, group accommodation, children’s houses, baby houses and dog houses!

This is a great choice if you are looking for somewhere easy to get to from Calais, with an idyllic location close to the beach and with activities for children of all ages. It’s also super easy to explore the area on bike as the cycle paths run along the whole coastline.
