Why Eurocamp? 8 Reasons We’re Hooked!

Why should you consider a Eurocamp destination for your next holiday you may ask? We feel it is perhaps simpler to ask, Why not! Here we will share 8 great reasons with you, ranging from being kind on budget to locations and activities that suit the whole family!

We began taking holidays with Eurocamp as small children. Those blissful carefree memories of splashing in the pool, roaming free and exploring a new culture made a lasting impression on us both.  We both worked for Eurocamp in our early 20’s meeting in Corsica in 1999. With our desire and enjoyment for these type of holidays never waning, it has led us not only to continue holidaying with Eurocamp with our own children, but also to proudly feature their Dutch holiday parks in our Little Clogs Holidays collection. As romantic as this sounds, there is solid reasoning for us being huge advocates of a Eurocamp holiday and why we continue, after 40 years, to not only recommend, but enjoy the holidays we take with them.

There is no better way to incorporate the holiday ideals of both parent and child than on a holiday resort with pools, restaurants and all the facilities you can imagine on hand. Eurocamp is ABTA and ATOL approved so you know your booking is secure! Come on, let’s explore what exactly is on offer in more detail …

Eurocamp

1.What is Eurocamp?

There is a reason that Eurocamp is a trusted household name. It has been providing family holidays for over 50 years and its ability to adapt to current demands has continued to give it a position of leadership in the sector. Eurocamp began its journey with a single campsite in Brittany with just a handful of tents and now spans across 10 European countries proudly offering over 400 holiday parcs, with an exceptional expansion of locations and accommodation types which have been added for 2024 .

Where the Eurocamp journey began in more basic surroundings, the experience you can expect now is quite different, from luxurious holiday homes with desirable outdoor living and home comforts to tree houses and winter locations, perfect for a ski holiday. The parcs come in different categories allowing for each family’s ideals, whether it be a peaceful, rural location to an all singing, all dancing resort with endless waterslides and entertainment. You can even have locations right on the beach or surrounded by stunning mountains.

Eurocamp offers the complete package, destinations in the most desired locations, a variety of accommodation, competitive prices and excellent facilities or entertainment for all tastes and ages.

2. Location, Location, Location

Eurocamp features holiday parks across 10 European countries. If you want to check out the coliseum in Rome, crystal blue waters of the gorges in the south of France, the bustling coastal regions of Spain, or the mountains of Switzerland or Austria, all of these locations are unique and exciting in their own rights. The beauty of Eurocamp is that they offer them all. With a familiar range of accommodation it makes the whole process hassle free.

Europe has such a delightful wealth of culture, history, regional delicacies and stunning nature that no one would blame you for wanting to travel your way around it. Since Eurocamp has enviably situated parcs in some of the most popular areas and destinations across Europe you can easily take your time to visit each of the 10 countries they feature, tour an entire country, or simply visit year on year to make the most of our beautiful continent. Did you know, you can also do short breaks too, so why not fly into Nice, Barcelona or Geneva for a long weekend and catch some rays?

3. A Fit for Every Family

In this day and age it is refreshing to see a holiday company that recognises that each family and their needs are different. If you are a single parent or travelling alone with your children the single-parent discount provides an extra little saving.

But of course every family is different and your own wishlist for the perfect holiday may vary widely from another. This is where Eurocamp has made browsing their collection even more family friendly as they have them all organised by categories. These include car free, baby and toddler, dog friendly, groups and more recently a winter location. Eurocamp has got you covered no matter the season or preferences.

The experience and ambience you are looking for may also vary and this is no problem either, from small campsites offering a more authentic experience, villages where you can embrace local culture, or larger resorts where the facilities are second to none. It’s clear to see why Eurocamp caters for young and old and certainly hasn’t forgotten the all important teenagers along the way.

4. Flexibility

A true plus point when booking through Eurocamp is that you can pick your own arrival and departure days. Not only does this mean you can book your holiday around your own needs, but it also means you can choose your exact holiday duration. If you prefer to visit more than one place or add variety into your type of destination, even multiple countries, then this system works wonders. Giving you the possibility to break up long journeys with stylish and relaxing stopovers, or explore beyond borders, picking and choosing your own route across Europe.

It is quite rare not to be restricted by standard arrival and departure days and the beauty of this is that you can work around travel options that are less expensive. The same can be said for the way you choose to travel should that be to fly, drive or take public transport.

You can secure a booking with Eurocamp by paying a very low deposit (the earlier you book the lower the amount). Following that you have total control on how you complete your payments. Whether you want to pay a little at a time or in larger chunks, it’s really up to you. You just need to ensure that the total amount has been settled 10 weeks before you head off on your adventures.

The flexibility with Eurocamp is not just through the booking process and the wide choice of location, but also in your experience when on holiday. Having reps on site to help you when you need tips or local knowledge can be the window to discovering your holiday destination. Holidays should never feel like an obligation and that’s why even though Eurocamp offers a wealth of facilities and activities, you choose how much or how little you would like to do. For some, recharging their batteries by the pool is just what is needed whilst others may be in their element filling their days with sports and entertainments. It’s your holiday, so what you say goes!

5. No Need to Blow the Budget

Saving money wherever you can without compromising on your holiday is at the forefront of everybody’s mind. With holiday prices rocketing and it seeming a challenge to find an affordable holiday, let alone travel abroard it’s great to know that Eurocamp has something for every budget. They understand that family circumstances can change, for instance, one minute you’re doting parents to one child and before you know it your family expands leaving your wallet feeling the pinch. Are you crazy thinking that you can have a Eurocamp family holiday with convenient accommodation and fabulous facilities whilst not breaking the bank? Goodness no! You just need to know where to look.

Eurocamp often has discounts and offers available so it is worth keeping your eyes open for one that is just right for you. This starts with an early booking offer and returning customers always receive a loyalty 5% discount on any new bookings.

Whether you’re a family of 2 or 8, a holiday at Eurocamp is calculated by the cost of accommodation rather than per head. This means that you can choose a smaller accommodation type if you are travelling with less people. However, for larger families you can take advantage of their larger holiday homes and fit all of your family under one roof, no splitting your family up over interconnecting rooms or scouring the internet for discounts. It’s simple, pick your preferred location and accommodation type and then one simple amount is calculated and Bob’s your uncle, you’re sorted and still have budget left for whilst on holiday.

7. Accommodation: A home away from home

We just love alfresco living and being in the great outdoors. There’s nothing better than sitting on your decking hearing the chirp of crickets and the murmur of distant laughter while you soak up the balmy summer evenings. This alone makes holidaying with young children all the more enjoyable for adults as your evening doesn’t need to stop as soon as they go to bed.

Eurocamp has a large range of accommodation and has expanded this even more for 2024, with new holiday home models offering even more comfort and mod cons. With large outdoor living space, comfy L-shaped sofas and even a swinging egg chair in their Ultimate Plus holiday home, you will feel like royalty amidst the other campers. What’s more staying in this accommodation type, means your beds will be made up for you on arrival. There’s nothing like dropping your bags and making a dash straight for the pool!

As promised there is a wide range of accommodation types which means you can find the model that suits your family and budget best. No matter where you choose to rest your head you will be able to enjoy all that your chosen parc has to offer!
