2024 is a big year for Eurocamp with lots of exciting changes about to take place. Whether you’re a seasoned Eurocamper or looking to take the plunge and book your first Eurocamp holiday, these developments are worth checking out. The convenience, fabulous locations, family entertainment and familiar accommodations aren’t about to disappear before our eyes. Instead, what you will notice are 100’s of new locations, a lot more accommodation and some pretty cool high spec additions to their accommodation range. Allow us to delve a little more into the exciting developments that will be in place ready for you to explore in 2024.
It’s no secret that we are frequent visitors to Eurocamp parcs with our own families. Our experience extends to family holidays growing up, working on site and also managing holiday park relations for many years. We continue to enjoy Eurocamp holidays and believe that they are a fabulous option for families of all ages, offering something for everyone.
Fun fact: We (Laura and Jane) first met in Corsica in 1999 when working for Eurocamp. 24 years later and our friendship has led us to create our own business for family holidays in Holland and Belgium. And we proudly feature some amazing Eurocamp parcs in our collection. It is not always easy to put a finger on what it is that Eurocamp has got so right that has kept us returning to their parcs across Europe for so long. What we do know is that there is a real comfort in knowing what to expect, that no matter where you go, the accommodation is familiar, the standards of their parcs are high, there are desirable locations and reps on site to help you when you need them. All of these factors take away the stresses of planning a family holiday, whether your children are toddlers, teens or going on adults. You can bet that no matter how old they are, they will still want to join you if you mention booking a Eurocamp holiday.
So with all this in mind, the seasoned Eurocampers amongst you can rest assured that you will still be able to have that comfort of expectation only the bar has now been raised, with more accommodation, locations, parcs and even a winter option! In addition to this there’s also some pretty fine new holiday homes that will have you being the envy of other holiday makers passing by.
When you’re planning your next family holiday, if you close your eyes and dare to imagine, what do you see? If you’re dreaming of having all your kitchen conveniences, super comfy beds, luxurious outdoor lounging space and the sun beating down on you while you relax and enjoy watching your children having the time of their lives, then Eurocamp has got you covered! That’s not all, there are activities for all ages, so each and every member of your family is catered for. Eating al fresco, dining poolside or popping into the local town to try one of their regional dishes; all of these idyllic scenarios are there for the booking.
The number of parcs has expanded massively, there will be over 400 in their collection come 2024, with something to suit all interests and budgets. You can expect an enlarged range of Campsites, Villages and Resorts, with parcs ranging from smaller and more authentic all the way to larger, all singing all dancing resorts. When you think Eurocamp you should simply banish any thought of roughing it in an empty field or traipsing along muddy paths by torchlight to your nearest convenience. ‘Camping’ with Eurocamp is a world away from this misconception. You’d be better thinking of a hotel in the open air (hotellerie de plein air as the French so aptly call it), with enormous pool areas, splash pools, an abundance of entertainment and activities, places to eat, friends to be made and enviable surroundings which will have you embracing the culture and local area in no time. These holidays can easily be described as an instant home away from home that will have you wanting to return for more, year on year (trust us, we speak from experience).
For now let’s look in a little ‘Euromore’ (see what we did there) detail at the newest Ultimate Plus Holiday Homes. Wow, this is some modern accommodation, extended to the outdoors as much as the interior. We often hear how families miss their toaster or oven when staying in Europe. You won’t have any problems in this holiday home as these come as standard, as well as a dishwasher, kettle and microwave. Oh, and if you like to get your morning started with a caffeine fix, then the Nespresso coffee machine will do the trick. But hang on a moment, perhaps you’re not planning to cook at all, or very little and you’d prefer to know about where you’re going to lay your head and listen to the crickets chirping at night. The master bedroom has an en-suite and a premium queen sized bed which is made up ready for your arrival, see it is a hotel in open air isn’t it! Not only that, but towels and air-con are included too.
Al-fresco living spells holidays, making rainy days in Blighty a distant memory and in the Ultimate Plus you can enjoy an extra large decking area with wrap around sofa, a swinging egg chair (yep musical chairs at the ready) and both covered and uncovered areas. It’s great to know that Eurocamp will be adding more of this accommodation type in 2024.
In 2024 all Ultimate and Premium Exclusive models will have linen and towels included as well as free Wi-Fi and end of stay cleaning.
We’ve also heard that there will be a whole new range of accommodation types which include tree houses, luxury lodges and…..wait for it….hot tubs. Yes please!
Eurocamp is very careful in their selection of parcs, looking for the highest quality, hidden gems and most sought after locations. The new parcs that will be added for 2024 are located in France, Italy, Spain, Croatia, the Netherlands and a new country yet to be revealed!
You’ll be able to enjoy more parcs in Annecy with the addition of Ideal where you can enjoy splashing around in the pool surrounded by mountain views. Get direct beach access and plenty of waterslide action at Le Castellas in France. This parc is easily reached by Ryanair flying into Beziers airport. The crystal blue waters of Croatia welcome you at each of their 4 new parcs and Europa Silvella in Lake Garda boasts a magnificent waterfront position with stunning mountains views and heaps to keep kids entertained. The huge array of new parcs in Spain includes Enmar, which has a Blue Flag beach on its doorstep and is fabulously located for day trips to Barcelona.
The beauty of such a wide range of parcs is that you can select exactly the type that suits you best. Eurocamp understands that not every family is the same and each has their own holiday wish list. So, if you want to have amazing mountain views, be close to a bustling beach resort, a lake or river, or a place with all the beauty and charm of the country you are staying in yet make your own entertainment, then there is something for everyone.
Woah, now hold on a minute, here’s something new to shout about. Till now we’ve focused on the options you have for a glorious family sun holiday. What would you say if we tempted you with some winter fun too? Check out Le Belledonne in the French Alps and ski resort Alpe D’Huez. With a breathtaking backdrop of snow-capped mountains, impressive waterfalls nearby and a local alpine village where you can now cosy up and enjoy the winter atmosphere and après-ski too. This all year round parc gives you the perfect base to try out a family ski holiday.
If you’ve not considered Holland (the Netherlands) as a family holiday destination before, we are convinced we can change your mind. With endless sandy beaches, woodland walks, easy transport links, a huge amount of family friendly days out and an abundance of culture to embrace, these are all good reasons to be curious about what is on offer. Be prepared to get hooked on Holland, we warned you!
The Eurocamp parcs we feature at Little Clogs Holidays boast some enviable locations and fantastic child-friendly facilities. New in 2024 will be a pool at Het Genieten, this is a parc with a brilliant location next to huge sand dunes and 10 minutes from Efteling theme park, and a brand new waterslide at Koningshof. Koningshof is only 25 minutes from Amsterdam airport and close to the beach and the tulip fields.
And in 2024 Eurocamp are adding another new Dutch parc! Klein Vink is slap bang in the middle of a gorgeous national park. If you were looking to enjoy some natural surroundings and have some adult me time then you’ll be happy to know that there are multiple pools including thermal pools for the adults. If you’ve followed us for a while you will have heard us talk of Irrland, a completely bonkers but equally fabulous family attraction park. This is just 15 minutes away from Klein Vink. You won’t find rollercoasters but there are endless themed areas to explore, play, swim and some thrilling slides!
We are excited to explore the new locations and accommodation coming to Eurocamp in 2024. All these developments and exciting additions to the Eurocamp range have us wondering what news they will divulge next, and we for one can’t wait! Question is, what will you book first?
