A farm with a pool, who knew!
FarmCamps Hoeve Luyterheyde can be found in Noord Brabant, just a short distance from the German and Belgian borders. Nestled on the edge of the Brabantse Peel, surrounded by forest and wild herbs, this farm, run by Frank and Eva, is a little gem. The rare cattle and pigs which they describe as ‘ Dutch heritage’ can be spotted grazing freely in the nature all year round. It’s not just pigs and cows that can be enjoyed at FarmCamps Hoeve Luyterheyde though as there are also ponies, chickens and dogs to get to know too.
Children will have a whale of a time exploring the farm, getting to know their new friends of the animal and human kind. Parents are just as welcome to embrace farm life, but if you’re looking for a laid back holiday then why not relax in the surroundings of your glamping accommodation. You can recline in your own hammock, take in the view and wind down to a slower pace of life, even if just for a while.
We love that this farm also has a heated outdoor pool. What better way to cool down on sunny days and have some family time. There’s so much more to explore, by getting out into the neighbouring fields and woodland which you can access directly from the farm. Head out for a picnic or a spot of hut building, or take a stroll through the woods into the local town, it’s all possible at FarmCamps Hoeve Luyterheyde.
There is the chance to take pony rides into the forest, ride on go-karts, kick about on the football field, dig and build in the sand and water area, try one of the trampolines and cuddle with the animals. In the mezzanine above the small shop and reception, there’s a great area for children to relax and play. With large sofas, table football, a play kitchen and more, this a lovely cosy place to hang out with new friends or siblings. Looks like there’s going to be some big stories to tell and fabulous memories made.
If you fancy ticking a few more countries off your wish list, or exploring another culture during your stay, why not pop over to Belgium or Germany for the day.

For an adventure play farm like one you’ve never seen before hop 40 mins over the border into Germany and go to Irrland. Toverland is an attraction park with all the large rides and roller coasters you would come to expect (including Troy which reaches speeds of 90 kmh and is the fastest in the Netherlands). There is still plenty to do for the younger members of the family too and it’s just 15 mins away.
