Mon – Fri Stays May Half Term 2025

May half term is usually a brilliant time to book a stay at one of our featured parks as Dutch and Belgian schools don’t have May half term and so it tends to be one of the cheapest times to book. However in 2025 there is a public holiday on 29^th May (Ascension day) in both the Netherlands and Belgium which means Friday 30^th isn’t a check in/out day on the majority of our featured parks and the usual Monday to Friday half term stay is affected in quite a lot of places.

Do any parks have a Monday to Friday stay available?

Yes, it is possible to book a Monday to Friday stay on some parks. These include Beekse Bergen, Europarcs Kaatsheuvel, the Efteling resorts (Bosrijk, Loonsche Land and the Efteling Hotel) and Eurocamp accommodation (Duinrell, Beekse Bergen, TerSpegelt, Twee Bruggen, Domein de Schatberg, Marvilla parks Kaatsheuvel, Koningshof and Roompot Beach Resort). A weekend to weekend stay is also possible on all of these.

Beekse Bergen’s own accommodation has Monday, Wednesday and Friday changeover days but the Safari Hotel has more flexibility.

Which durations are possible on the other parks?

At Duinrell, the Landal Parks and Hof van Saksen, Sunparks, Roompot and FarmCamps the following durations are possible over May half term 2025:

Arrival Friday 23^rd until Monday 26^th

Arrival Friday 23^rd until Wednesday 28^th

Arrival Monday 26^th until Wednesday 28^th

Arrival Monday 26^th until Monday 2nd June

Arrival Wednesday 28^th until Monday 2nd June

Even though the bookable stays are as above there is nothing to stop you leaving a day early, for example booking a Monday to Monday stay and leaving on the Sunday. In some cases it might work out well price-wise to still book 7 nights but leave at some point on the Sunday. And that way you can also leave whenever you want on the Sunday rather than by the morning check out time.

Can I combine stays to get a full Monday to Friday?

Yes, if you want to stay at one of the above parks where Monday to Friday isn’t possible you could always look at combining a couple of places, for example Monday to Wednesday at Beekse Bergen and Wednesday to Friday (or Sat/Sun) at one of the Efteling resorts. The Safari Hotel at Beekse Bergen also has arrivals/departures nearly every day.

My Whit holiday dates are different

For those with a 2 week Whit break you can get some good deals arriving on Monday 2^nd June for 4 nights (eg €440 at Beekse Bergen in a Forest Cabin or €309 at Landal Rabbit Hill) or on Monday 19^th May for 4 nights (€440 at Beekse Bergen or €299 at Landal Rabbit Hill).

Are there any other cheaper times to book?

Yes, there are quite a few periods where our school holidays don’t overlap with the Dutch and Belgian ones. For example the last week of August is typically a good time to book as the Dutch schools start to go back from the 3rd week of August and it also includes our August bank holiday weekend. Also the Dutch and Belgian schools only get the long weekend for Easter so travelling during our Easter holidays is often a good shout too, and in 2025 coincides with the best time to see the tulips (the 2nd half of April).
