About Landal Landgoed ‘t Loo

Relaxation and lakeside fun for babies, toddlers and the whole family!

Situated within its own woodland right on the edge of the Veluwe, Landal Landgoed ‘t Loo is the perfect balance between relaxation and fun-filled days. The holiday park itself is centered around a huge recreational lake and beach, complete with zip wire and inflatable obstacle course (July and August). Here you will find plenty of space to play, relax and your children can explore the air trampoline and playground. If you’re feeling adventurous you could also give the pully boat a try to see if you can make it from one side of the lake to the other.

The lake is surrounded by some of the holiday bungalows. Should you choose to spend your holiday in one of these you are sure to enjoy a glass of wine or two in the evenings whilst looking out onto the beautiful calm water. In the day time it will be easy to spend the day playing on the sandy beach on your doorstep or even taking a dip in the lake. On those sunny days it with be a relief to know that being set amongst woodlands there is always plenty of shade to be found too.

At the edge of the lake you will find the Park Plaza which is the central hub for activities, recreation and dining. It is here that you will also find the swimming pool which has a separate little pool with slide for toddlers and a brand new splash park!

Within this same complex there is a great indoor play area made with natural materials. The two level Plaza also offers indoor bowling and a magnificent atelier studio where children of all ages can get their creative hats on. There is a range of shops including a mini-market, ice-cream stall and boutique. You’ll find a good choice of restaurants and take-aways also situated within the Park Plaza building which boasts a magnificent terrace overlooking the beach and lake. What better way to keep an eye on your children as they play!

Landal parks are constantly updating and improving their facilities and Landgoed ‘t Loo is no exception. The additions of their Pizza Limone restaurant, a new Brasserie and park shop as well as a renewed bowling alley, have all enhanced the Plaza’s stylish interior. The pizzeria is a super choice for families. Children can don a chefs outfit and make their own pizzas as well as being able to access their own buffet area, which is just the perfect height for younger children.

Situated on the sandy beach below the sunny terrace is a large marquee which is the central point for the children’s entertainment. This entertainment continues into the evenings as they can pop by and toast marshmallows, cook waffles or join in the kid’s disco hosted on the lake front stage, depending on what the progamme is on a particular day. If you thought it was only the children getting all the fun you’d be wrong, as just next to the entertainment marquee there is a juice bar and plenty of hammocks spread along the beach. Perfect for keeping an eye on your little ones whilst having a moment to unwind for yourself!

Bollo the Bear Landal’s mascot can be spotted around the park offering entertainment and activities through his club all year round.

If you’re looking for more adventure then why not hire a bike and explore the woodland paths which lead directly from the park. You can hire a wide variety of bikes on the park. The bikes include child and parent tandems, family bikes and children’s bikes, and there are go-karts and buggies too.

This is a car-free park and therefore vehicles are parked in a central area away from holiday homes. There are exceptions made for those with disabilities who are able to park next to their accommodation. As there is a one way system in place around the park this provides a wonderful, safe and quiet environment for your children to relax and play.

“Adorable, beautiful and probably something else-able as well!”

We stayed at Landal Landgoed ‘t Loo for a week in August 2014. We were two families with a total of six children. The place is something out of a fairytale. Just green and clean and perfect.
