About Landal Stroombroek

A small, and friendly holiday park in the middle of Holland: a paradise for toddlers

Landal Stroombroek holiday park is situated within easy reach of beautiful nature and medieval villages. It has a large recreational lake with a beach which you can take a long stroll around, and relax or admire the view whilst enjoying a well earned coffee break. Travelling to the park is easy as there is quick access to motorways or if you opt to use public transport the bus stop will bring you just a 2 minute walk from the park entrance.

The park itself has a range of bungalows which are generously spread out giving each its own private hedged garden and surrounded by mature trees. Some are set within a cul-de-sac and have their own toddler playground in the centre.

In the main building you will find a well stocked mini-market and catering facilities. These include eating-in/out or take away options. What we love is The Bollo Buffet where children can serve themselves their food from a special area set perfectly at children’s height. They will definitely love the ice-cream counter where they can create their own little sweet masterpiece. What’s more, the restaurant spills out onto a terraced area which is directly overlooking a large, recently renovated children’s playground. Waiting for your dinner to arrive has never been so relaxing.

The small, heated swimming pool which is more than equipped to entertain babies and toddlers. Within the same main building you will discover the Palestra Wellness spa which has free entrance for those residing on the park. In addition to this there is also an indoor play area with a toddler slide landing in a colourful ball pool! and bowling alley complete with adaptors to allow even the smallest member of the family to score a strike.

Outdoors you will find a newly refurbished playground which has been designed to suit all ages and encourages all types of physical activity and development. There is a full all year round entertainment programme and The Bollo club has a range of children’s activities suited for all ages. Toddlers will love visiting Bollo’s home which is housed near the main reception. They can even post a picture for Bollo in his letter box.

“Lovely relaxed break”

Just returned from a lovely, relaxing half term break. Our family of four really liked the well appointed bungalow and getting around was very easy on foot or by bike. I enjoyed morning runs around the lake and we cycled to see the nearby windmill in Braamt.  The indoor pool was very popular with our 7 and 5 year olds, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back.

“Relaxing Family Holiday”

Quiet resort with great facilities for kids – swimming pool, indoor playroom with climbing frame, ball pit and giant Lego, recreational lake and play areas. Accommodation well appointed and comfortable. Ideally located for leisurely bike trips and only half an hour from Arnhem. I’d certainly recommend for young families

To Do

An advantage of this park is how close it is to nearby attractions and towns and of course its fantastic location just a 30 minute drive (40km) from the Hoge Veluwe National Park.  You must visit Holland’s most magical woodlands; whether you take advantage of the free family bikes and explore one of the child friendly bike routes or whether you simply want to have a stroll and see what wonders you can spot!

Next door to the Stroombroek park is Het Land van Jan Klaassen. This quirky little theme park is especially inviting for toddlers and has a very relaxed atmosphere.

The local village of Braamt is 1.5km away where you will find a windmill and a small selection of restaurants and bars with outdoor terraces.

The interesting city of Arnhem and its Burgers Zoo is a 25 minute drive away (34km) and the city of Utrecht is just an hour’s drive away.

If it’s a change of culture and country completely that you desire then Germany is a mere 30 minutes  drive away!!
