Review: TerSpegelt, Beekse Bergen and Efteling, An Epic Summer Holiday!

The George family left us this review of their multicentre holiday to TerSpegelt, Beekse Bergen and Efteling. They contacted us as they were interested in Efteling and wanted to add some other places to make it a 2 week holiday. They said:

I’d never considered the Netherlands as a holiday destination until I stumbled upon Little Clogs Holidays and saw all the amazing recommendations and reviews. With the help of Laura and Jane we planned an epic summer holiday for myself, my husband and our two boys aged 7 and 9.

We enjoyed our first week at Terspegelt. The site was huge and there was so much for the boys to do, they particularly loved the zip wire, football, corn maze and water activities. It felt very safe, so they were able to go off on their bikes and explore the site themselves. The bike routes off-site were fantastic, we were able to easily ride into the local town for dinner and ice-cream and we also did the 32k circular route from the campsite, which was so easy to follow. We could have stayed there much longer.

Our next stop was 4 nights at Beekse Bergen. We headed straight to Speelland when we arrived as our accommodation wasn’t ready until 4pm, which the boys loved. We were blown away by our accommodation, the Savannah Lodges, and how close we were to the animals. Highlight was sitting out in the evenings playing cards and watching the Giraffes.

Our final destination was Efteling and it was worth the wait! It felt like a magical way to end our stay. Caro was fantastic as were the Dutch donuts! We had high expectations for our trip, which were exceeded at all destinations and we will 100% plan and book a Netherlands holiday through Little Clogs again. Thank you!”
