6 Magical worlds waiting to be explored!
Toverland is a theme park with something for all the family, not least the youngest members. You will most certainly need a full day to explore all that there is to discover and enjoy. Although there are plenty of rides to try, Toverland is not too big and it is easy to walk between each area or to return to rides that you want to do again.
Toverland is arranged across 6 ‘worlds’ each with their own identity. For example in the world of Ithaka you are transported to Ancient Greece where amongst other rides you will discover the longest, highest and fastest wooden rollercoaster in the Benelux, ‘Troy.’ A truly exhilarating ride! The other worlds, Avalon, Magical Valley, Port Laguna, Land van Toos and Wunderwald all have something unique and special to offer.
Try out the Booster Bike rollercoaster, Merlin’s pretty boat ride, or Expedition Zork, which is a log flume ride with a difference as it unexpectedly, suddenly goes backwards! Take control of your speed on Maximus’ Blitz bobsleigh and feed your inner dare devil on the Fenix which reaches speeds of up to 95kmph.
There is plenty for younger children or those seeking less of a white knuckle adventure. For example, the enormous indoor area that is filled with lots of rides, eateries, a carousel and a large indoor play area. Villa Toverhoed is super cool as you get to use your own wand to cast spells that really work, You will also come across a water discovery area and plenty of little play areas dotted around the theme park to keep those curious toddlers entertained.
With all of this to keep your family busy you may think that’s it but no, there are also shows and entertainment spread across the park. The schedule for these are easy to follow on the Toverland App. Restaurants and picnic areas are found throughout the theme park, with a choice of ordering at a counter or via one of the digital screens.
If you like to put an extra bit of pizzazz into your Halloween celebrations then Toverland is perfect for you. Get spooked out at their range of family friendly, ‘scare zones and haunted experiences.’ The Halloween Nights takes place on specific dates throughout October and November. During the colder months Toverland embraces their ‘Winter Feelings,’ where there are special winter features including an ice rink, tons of twinkly lights and musical performances. It is advised to check their calendar during the winter months as they close for a few days during this period.
‘Brilliant Fun!’
So much fun! Really easy to find with a massive car park. For the thrill seekers there is Fenix, Troy, Dwervelwind. Lots on offer for the youngsters. Boat rides, river rapids, massive indoor play park with rollercoasters, funhouse, log flume and more. Best fun I’ve had in ages. Would thoroughly recommend.
