Hof van Saksen just keeps on getting better and better. Since our last update in October introducing the 5th waterslide and the impressive renovation programme of the indoor play centre and the farmhouse accommodation, news is just in of their most recent upgrades and renovations.
Here are some of the further improvements we are so excited to share with you:
The indoor play was already huge, including the Clip and Climb wall (a favourite with our kids) which was added last year, and with different areas catering for different ages, ensuring no-one is left out. And babies and toddlers can now have even more fun in the brand new baby and toddler paradise which, at 675m2 in size, is large and has allowed 3 different areas to be created; for the youngest babies, through to crawlers and toddlers.
Hof van Saksen has also renovated the bowling alley, and the new hyper bowling concept means everyone is a winner as rather than avoid the bumpers, you get points for hitting them!
No matter what the weather or the time of year this is an excellent choice due to its extensive indoor as well as outdoor offering. The indoor activity centre, together with the trampolining centre, bowling and some of the academies, now offers nearly 4000m2 of space to play, learn and enjoy time together. This makes it an excellent option for a holiday in cooler months too. In fact, the last two times we have been was in February and we spent many an hour in the indoor play and enjoying all of the indoor activities!
The Hof van Saksen accommodations are already of a high standard but the resort is committed to renewing all of its farmhouses by 2025 and has already upgraded many of them. The lounges, dining rooms, kitchens and bedrooms are all being given an uplift with high quality fixtures and furnishings.
The children’s farmhouses are seeing major changes in the overall look and design with some pretty cool bedroom areas and wall designs as well as a playhouse in the living room with various games such as LEGO, Kapla and giant Mikado. The theme for the houses is “water and adventure” in keeping with the overriding themes of the resort. Edgar Seesink, the Product Development Manager at Hof van Saksen, said “Making fun things educational, we like to do that at Hof van Saksen and that is why it was the starting point for the development of our completely renovated children’s farmhouses”.
Families with babies can book the newly renovated Newborn farmhouse which comes with a hanging cradle, video monitor, rocking chair, video monitor and bottle warmer as well as a cool 3rd bedroom with a junior bed for an older brother or sister.
If you’re looking for the ultimate relaxation and being made to feel special with friends or family around you you will love the renewed 12 person culinary farmhouse where you can hire your own private chef (yes please!)! The luxury and wellness farmhouses have also had an upgrade and the resort is working with the high-end interior design company Studio Piet Boon to ensure a high specification throughout.
There is good reason that Hof van Saksen continues to be a favourite destination with Little Clogs families. This resort continues to improve year on year and thinks of the whole family. We all want our children to have a great holiday but us adults are also considered and catered for at Hof van Saksen making it truly a park for all. It is suitable for all ages, great at all times of the year and also doable without a car!
