Review: Duinrell, So Much To Do!

The Finney family left us this review of their recent stay at Duinrell. They loved all the park facilities, as well as hiring bikes and exploring the beautiful nature surrounding Duinrell. They said:

“I’m so glad I came across Little Clogs when starting to plan our holiday to Holland.

I have fond memories of holidays as a child to Holland and Belgium but this was our first trip with our children (nearly 4 and 6 years old).

We stayed at Duinrell in Wassenaar which the children loved as there is so much to do. It has an on site theme park and indoor and outdoor pool complex. I messaged Little Clogs for advice when I was researching where to stay and Laura was so responsive and helpful with suggestions and recommendations of different places. She gave great recommendations re hiring bikes and cycling routes.

We hired bikes through Duinrell, a cargo electric bike which my children were very comfortable in (plus lots of space for bags!) and an adult bike. We cycled to the local beach and then on to Monkeybos children’s natural outdoor play area before continuing to Scheveningen.  The cycle paths are wide and clearly marked so it felt very safe cycling enjoying the scenic views as we rode.

We found a lovely little cafe called Arzu in Rotterdam before we boarded the ferry for pancakes! Red velvet with cream-cheese, white chocolate and strawberries, cinnamon apples and Nutella which were all delicious!

We would love to return and explore more of Holland and I will use Little Clogs again for their excellent advice and recommendations.”
