Review: Dormio Strand Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad, A Hidden Gem!

Lauren and her family have left us this review of their stay at Dormio Strand Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad. This is a lovely, small-scale, park a short walk to a beautiful beach and only 35 mins from Bruges. They said:

“We’ve just returned from our second trip to the Netherlands, booked through your website. We did the Hull to Rotterdam ferry and drove to Zeeland to stay in Dormio Strand Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad.

We had such a wonderful time. I can’t say how happy I am that we found your website. We like it quiet and asked for your suggestions for smaller parks – Nieuwvliet Bad didn’t disappoint. The facilities were excellent, staff were helpful and friendly, the park was small and safe. It was the first year we’ve let our kids ride their bikes around on their own and felt completely relaxed to do that.

We were 5 minutes from a beautiful beach and safe off road cycling routes went in all directions from the park – such a far cry from where we live in the UK! We were also the only Brits on the site so it really felt like a hidden gem – just what we wanted. Our trip included a hop over the border to Bruges which also didn’t disappoint.
