The Pugh family left us this review of their recent stay at Beekse Bergen Safari Resort. They stayed in a Savannah Lodge with direct views of the African animals and had a wonderful time with relaxation and activity in equal measure! They said:
“Just returned from a fabulous five days staying at Beekse Bergen Safari Resort in Holland. We booked through Little Clogs and Laura was so helpful from start to finish. Initially she answered all my questions about the resort and location and once we’d decided it was the place for us, I asked Laura to help us pick the lodge we stayed in – and what a fab decision that was- our lodge had the best views of the savannah and we had a glorious display of animals (giraffes, rhinos, ostrich, zebra and more) at every time throughout the day. Laura also helped me arrange our airport transfers and answered all my last min questions helping us feel really confident with the booking.
Beekse Bergen is an incredible place. It was a magical holiday, not only for our 6 year old but also for us adults. The walking safari filled two days, it was glorious, so relaxing and enjoyable to wander around and look at the gorgeous animals, there were numerous trim trails and play parks along the way to keep our 6 year old entertained and the slushie station was a great hit!
We spent a day at Speelland too which was included in the price- lots of beach fun, play park, slides, pedalos and rides to keep everyone entertained. We also visited the lake resort which was beautiful. The two indoor swimming centres are fabulous- great fun for a 6 year old, flumes, and small play which was great, very safe and clean too.
We went bowling and had pizzas out- ended up having them twice as they were so tasty! We cooked in our lodge for the other nights which was fine. We enjoyed wine in the garden of our lodge overlooking the savannah and played cards in the evening as well as going down to the campfire which was a lovely atmosphere- perfect holiday vibes.
It was a wonderful holiday – would definitely recommend it and will certainly book through Little Clogs again. “
