We had a fantastic time at Duinrell for a short break in September 2018. One of the things which appealed to when choosing our Duinrell holiday was that we didn’t need a car. It was such a short (under an hour) flight to Amsterdam and then we got trains and taxis. We were travelling with an 18 month old and a 3 and a half year old and it was surprisingly easy. Duinrell itself is such an amazing place! There are things for all ages but our two loved the new toddler play pool and we could have spent all day in the theme park!
There are scary rides for older kids but ours couldn’t get enough of the trampolines and the mono rail and watching the older kids on the big splash log flume! And our eldest LOVED the frog rollercoaster!
It was great having everything we needed on our doorstep including the gorgeous village of Wassenaar and we loved the natural setting. We stayed with Eurocamp but could see that Duinrell also had some lovely looking accommodation.
Duinrell is such a good place for kids and we would definitely go back. The trip was made even better by the fantastic recommendations from Laura and Jane about other places to visit, we had a great time at the Miffy museum in Utrecht! Thanks for all your help!
