In the main, baby and toddler families are able to travel outside of school holidays and so can reap the best discounts! (and the least crowded times to travel- it’s great to get free rein of the play areas and pools when it’s quiet!).
Eurocamp provides fantastic holidays for baby and toddler families (as well as for older children) on some of the best holiday parks in Europe. Here at Little Clogs we are rather crazy about their Dutch parks! They are easy to get to, have some fantastic pools and play facilities as well as being close to some great toddler days out. A great thing about Eurocamp is no set arrival dates so you can arrive and depart when you please. Baby equipment can be added on to your booking free of charge.
Visit Duinrell, just 30 minutes from Amsterdam Schipol airport with the pretty village of Wassenaar on the doorstep. Enjoy the thrills and spills of the attraction park as well as the extensive swimming complex. And let’s not forget the new outdoor pool complete with family slides, a water playground, heated pool and the largest tipping bucket in the Netherlands!
If you want to spend your holiday on one of the best beaches in the country then have a look at Roompot Beach Resort. There’s a superb pool complex, plenty of activities and bordering a national park you really have the best of both worlds.
Or why not visit Beekse Bergen. A little over an hour from Amsterdam airport or the Rotterdam ports, 25 minutes from Eindhoven airport and 20 minutes from Efteling fairytale theme park. Beekse Bergen has so much to offer. Not only does it have an indoor pool, play area and play beach but it also has lots of play areas including a huge play park on the lake beach (Speelland). And the amazing safari park makes it a totally unique place to go on holiday! Eurocamp has its own area on Beekse Bergen with spacious, grassy pitches. Plenty of space to run about and explore!
Try Koningshof, a small, friendly and authentic park with a cosy family atmosphere. It has a covered pool, great play areas and a lovely bar and restaurant as well as a new waterslide which was added in 2024. Koningshof is ideally placed for visiting Amsterdam and the Keukenhof international flower festival.
Twee Bruggen is a high quality park with excellent pool and play areas, waterslides and is in beautiful nature close to forests, lakes and vineyards. The medieval village of Bredevoort is a 30 minute walk away. It is close to the German border and within easy reach of Movie Park theme park.
Domein de Schatberg in Limburg has a beautiful lakeside setting, indoor and outdoor pools and we love the fact that it’s just 5 mins drive from Toverland theme park. Within a 35 minute drive are also Irrland play park in Germany and Klein Zwitserland play park and tree top climbing park.
And TerSpegelt is a 5 star holiday park suitable for children of all ages with a large recreational lake, sandy lake beaches, indoor pool and fantastic indoor sand and water play beach. This park is jam packed with activities and is only 40 mins from Efteling and 35 minutes from Beekse Bergen.
Last, but not least Marvilla Parks Kaatsheuvel is a quiet park bordering the vast sand dunes of the Loonse en Drunense National Park. It’s got an amazing location being less than 10 minutes drive from Efteling.
We love its cosy brasserie and large sunny terrace overlooking the extensive play area, zip wire and mini golf. And of course the brand new indoor pool and outdoor spray park and slides which opened in 2024.
