We are over the moon and very proud to have been selected by leading entrepreneur Jacqueline Gold, CEO of Ann Summers, as a winner in her weekly #WOW Twitter awards! Jacqueline champions women in business which is something we at Little Clogs are very passionate about.
Every Wednesday she invites small businesses which are run by women to tweet her about their businesses. She then makes a selection based on the businesses she feels have strong brand values, are interesting, respond to a gap in the market and have a well designed website (thanks Alex @ Flatcap!). This is a real boost for us and it’s great to receive the recognition for our brand.
We set up Little Clogs just a few months ago and have been overwhelmed by the support and interest that people have shown in our fledgling business and we are just really happy to be able to share with everyone why Holland and Belgium are such great places to go on holiday and to be able to provide an alternative destination in the baby/toddler travel market. We love receiving enquiries and making recommendations, most of it based on our own personal experiences. Having half Belgian and half Dutch families respectively we spend a lot of time over there (Jane lives there) and love the familiarity of going back and also the new things we discover each time. We love to discover hidden gem places to visit with little ones in tow and will continue to add these to our site.
It’s certainly not been necessary to fly to warmer climes this summer and Holland and Belgium are also enjoying glorious weather. It’s great to be able to just pop across to the continent and enjoy something a bit different. We hope everyone who is experiencing this little pocket of Europe this summer is having a wonderful time and we look forward to welcoming more people through our site!
