Review: Our Holiday to Beekse Bergen and Roompot Beach Resort

The Grainger family left us this review of their holiday at Beekse Bergen Lake Resort and Roompot Beach Resort. They contacted us for ideas of where to stay with a 5 year old and a 2 year old. This is what they said:

“Little Clogs Holidays were amazing with helping me plan our holiday to Holland. We’ve never been before and with so much choice of places to go and stay I was not sure where to turn. But I’m so glad I found little clogs holidays, they were fantastic and answered all the questions I had. We ended up going to a Eurocamp ‘Roompot Beach Resort’ and Beekse Bergen. They were both amazing places for different reasons.

South Holland is beautiful, we loved it. Roompot Beach Resort is brilliant and has everything you could want for a holiday with young children. The beaches in the area are beautiful and huge! The resort has loads to do and the local town has a fantastic restaurant with a huge garden, play area and great food.

Beekse Bergen is unbelievable for young kids and families. Our 5 and 2 year olds had the times of their lives. There is so much to do and no limit on how many times. It’s excellent value for money. We stayed on the lake resort which was very nice although if I was to go back I’d want to try and stretch funds to the safari resort as we spend most of our time there. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best so we didn’t get the most out of Speelland and the lake resort but we loved the swimming pools in both resorts and the safari is brilliant. We did the auto safari 4 times and it never got boring! We had giraffes and camels licking our car and baby zebras crossing the road in front of us. What an amazing experience.

We didn’t sit still the whole holiday and even stopped in Bruges for a few hours on the way home to pop into the chocolate museum. The journey there and back is so easy. We went on the eurotunnel and took our own car which was so easy and quick. I would recommend Holland as a holiday destination to anyone and Little Clogs were so helpful. Thank you so much. We will be back for more one day! 💗”
